Good News For Girls

San Francisco's feedback-laden pop outfit, Girls, threw some good news out this week via a MySpace bulletin.

The band, which plays five shows at SXSW over the next three days, announced they're forming a label imprint under the new U.K. label Turnstile Records. They should be able to spread the word about that deal--and about the great music that'll come with it--as they pop up in features in national magazines in the next month or so.

The group says there are Girls profiles coming out in Fader and Interview magazines. And a debut full-length? Hopefully that's on the way soon too...
