Yesterday there was Hope, today there's a hangover. At least that how it feels coming from behind this keyboard, where between the rain and the Man (when are these screwed up companies going to stop laying off my friends?) I'm flat out grumpy. And when I'm feeling pricklier than an Arizona cactus, there's only one band that can soothe those spikes: the good ol' Cheater Slicks -- who've shoveled out a lotta boozy, bloozy, noise-damaged garage rock over the years. Nothing like turning up the volume on the Cheater's sloppy, sneering, cynical rock 'n' roll until it blasts the cobwebs away.
