"George Orwell 1984 Print Set" by Shepard Fairey

Shepard was commissioned by Penguin Books to give his take on two Orwell Classics, 1984 and Animal Farm. The book set was sold in the UK along with a print set, and that print set is now here in the US and will be available for purchase on the Obey Giant site this Wednesday. They are both offset prints, 17" x 24" signed and numbered in an edition of 200. Limit one per household. Get it here.

"Memories of Tomorrow Travels" by David Stoupakis

David recently had a solo show at the Corey Helford Gallery, and has just updated his web page with new prints from this show. I loved the look of this print, the size is also unique at 10″x 17″with a 8″x 15″image area. The print is on archival paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 100. Get it here.

"The Teeming" by Catherine Brooks

Catherine Brooks is an artist out of Los Angeles. She recently launched an online store and kicked it off with her first print --which is unfortunately limited to only 10. The print is 10″ x 13″, signed and numbered. The amazing thing about these prints is that each one is hand embellished. She hand painted the gold details into each one of the prints, to help regain the "metallic nature" of her paintings. The other bonus is "each one is a little different and you may find a tiny graphite secret drawn into the the back and maybe a gold finger print." Get it here.

"Sete" by Gianluca Mattia

A pin-up style artist out of Italy, Gianluca creates all of his work digitally. Inspired by such artists as Glenn Barr and Keith Weesner, Gianluca has a really amazing style. I'm not always drawn to digital work, but this is an example of digital art done right. The prints are 14" x 20" ,open edition. The colors and stylized figure in this one is amazing.  Get it here.

"The Ecstasy of Madam Dolorosa" by Carrie Anne Baade

Surrealist painter and professor Carrie Anne Baade has added some new prints to her online shop. She has a ton of prints, all of which are under $50. They're all open edition, and have an image area of 8.5" x 11". The one shown has always been a favorite of mine, the colors she used for flesh tones and the ornamental background is striking.
