Here's one for those who are just plain over this largely manufactured holiday season with its peppermint-flavored lattes and remixed carols. On Saturday, Dec. 27, head on over to the Knockout for the Xmas edition of the club's new Broken club night, "Silent Night, Deadly Night." DJs Ts, Rantz, and Phifernaut "have been inspired to dig back into their music collections and play some darker genres that haven't been heard in the clubs in years." Expect a mix of goth, industrial, new wave, and indie. The party is free! And it starts at 9.
