Photo Exhibit Features the Beatles in India

Beatles fans should head over to the San Francisco Art Exhange before the end of the month to check out photographer Paul Saltzman's exhibit of the band on their historic Indian sojourn 40 years ago. Titled "The Beatles in India: Creativity and Inner Peace," the show presents the only visual documentation available of the Beatles' stay at Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's ashram, where they wrote many of the songs that ended up on the White Album. "The Beatles in India" runs through Dec. 31. -- Jennifer Maerz
