Have you been spending a little too much time around other people this holiday season? Is party-hopping in bars and jamming in next to strangers on Muni driving you into Travis Bickle territory? Do you feel like punching out that drunk Santa at your Christmas party who tells you to cheer up? Then your X-mas present from Orland, Ca.'s Nothing People is an excellent new song, "I Don't Think I Like You" (available on the band's MySpace page). Sample bon mot: "The longer you take up space the harder I pray for death." It's a great piece of buzzing, cynical post-punk, like Television after a wicked hangover and no asprin in sight.
