If you didn't catch Jay Reatard's lightning-quick garage punk set over the summer, then 2009 is looking good for you. The Memphis-bred rocker plans to release his first studio album under indie staple Matador Records early next year, and is scheduled to deliver furious guitar riffs at the Independent Jan. 25.
