MP3 of the Day: Mi Ami

To help spread the good news on local "interstellar punks" Mi Ami, the San Francisco trio is the band behind today's MP3 of the Day. And what's this positive twist in their tale? The group signed to Quarterstick Records -- part of Touch and Go -- and will release a 12" in January and full-length in February. For now you can unravel your noggin with their subterranean basslines, spiraling percussion, and slinky sound effects (the band's grooves extend so far they've practically got comet tails trailing behind 'em).
