Tapes 'n Tapes Begin New Year with SF Tourdate in Jan.

You may not know it, but Minneapolis is a musical hotbed. Aside from giving us the likes of Prince, Twin/Tone Records, and Atmosphere, the Midwest territory is also home to rockers Tapes 'n Tapes, who just lined up a winter tour fresh for 2009. Come to experience indie rock as pure as the waters of Lake Minnetonka when Tapes 'n Tapes play the Great American Music Hall on Jan. 23. Tickets are available now. --Oscar Pascual
