SoMa's Paradise Lounge Scheduled to Reopen on Halloween Night
It's hard to say it was dearly beloved in its original incarnation — at least not if you judge by the old Yelp reviews — but the Paradise Lounge at the intersection of Folsom & 11th Street is planning to reopen on Halloween night, Friday, Oct. 31. Greg Wilson, one of the original DJs at Manchester, England's legendary Hacienda nightclub, headlines the holiday event. Then on Saturday, Nov. 1, Lee Burridge hosts his final "Get Weird" party of the year at the venue. There's not much to see at the Paradise Lounge website yet, so your best bets for more information are the individual promoter sites: see the Gun Club DJ event page and the Get Weird website for specifics about the Friday and Saturday night parties, respectively. — J.
