Irivine-based Blizzard, makers of a certain MMORPG that is known to suck many a significant other in for days on end, had their annual convention in Anaheim over the weekend. Attendees got a taste of Diablo 3, Starcraft II and World of Warcraft expansion packs. Friday's events included comedian Jay Mohr presiding over the costume contest, which was won by Amanda, a lady from Tempe, AZ, whose mechanical turtle ("Speedy") stole the show.

Spanish Lessons; you are correct. WoW gameplay is not only slow, the graphics are a step down from the glory that was Warcraft III.

The orcs and trolls represent blacks.
Elves represent asians
Humans and undead are the white folks

Seriously? Comic Con AND Baltimore Comic Con had hotter chicks in cosplay. Even the guys had better costumes.
The dwarf hunter above is a statue... all the rest are FANS dressed up in costume.
For Marty asking why there aren't any black models, sorry but there ARE black models in the game.. there are also blue, and purple people. It just seemed that there were not any fans dressed up as the "black models" that entered the contest. That's not racism of the game.. that's called that perhaps some people didn't want to dress up in front of 15,000 people.

There was actually one, black contestant, she derssed up for the costume contes and intered the dance contest. At the Convention on Friday I saw only few black people and one guy dressed as Mr. T as a Night Elf. Go figure.
