MP3 of the Day: Z-Trip Hypes Obama
Ok, so for some artists, the mix of politics and music is a terribly preachy combo. But the Obama fever is so infectious -- and frankly, I'm so excited to watch the VP candidate debates tonight (come to Nickies, at Haight and Fillmore, with a crew of us if you want a spot to watch on big screen TVs) that I have to post this Z-Trip "Obama Mix." It pulls in a little of this (Pink Floyd) a little of that (Public Enemy), some Obama speech samples, and a lot of rhetoric for positive change. The track is a cool little marker for our time, and for how far-reaching momentum for this Democratic candidate has spread.
