MP3 of the Day: Chris Pierce & Leela James

One of the craziest celebrity deaths this year had to be the double whammy of Bernie Mac (who died August 9) and Isaac Hayes (who passed the next day). They'll both be making their final movie appearance in the upcoming flick Soul Men -- which comes out in early Nov. and stars Mac and Samuel L. Jackson (who is not dead). The soundtrack to that film has an impressive lineup, with tracks from Hayes, Anthony Hamilton, John Legend, and Sharon Jones and the DapKings, among others. Here for your listening pleasure today we have Soul Men cover of the 1968 UK hit “Private Number."
