YBCA's Artists' Ball: Rogue Wave, Mos Def, and More

One thing you can say about San Francisco's museums: they sure know how to throw a party. Yerba Buena's annual Artists Balls are a blast, mixing art, music, and very fancy food. This year's entertainers (for the Oct.3 party) hail from hip-hop and indie rock: Mos Def and Rogue Wave take the stage to entertain our local art patrons. Tickets aren't cheap ($125 to $150) but if you have the kind of cash you can pour into a museum like Yerba Buena, their big bashes are worth hitting. -- Jennifer Maerz
