Fans of Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound and Wooden Shjips should clear their calendars at the end of September as New York psych rockers White Hills perform four times in San Francisco (and once in Big Sur for the big FolkYeah))) Festival in the Forest blowout). You can take your pick between free events (Aquarius in-store on the 24th, KUSF guest DJ set on the 26th) or paid gigs (Retox on the 25th, the Knockout on the 29th), but there are plenty of times to get your heavy fix from these Hills. -- Jennifer Maerz
