The Lowbrow Art Sale: Alex Garcia, Glenn Barr & Whitney Lenox

Alex Garcia "Straight Through Your Heart"

An artist out of Los Angeles, Alex Garcia has been a favorite of mine for quite some time now. He also tattoos on a limited basis, and in both areas he is very skilled. Garcia is one of those artists whose work I'm itching to see in person, as the feel and color in his pieces are amazing. This print is from Black Market Art Company; each print is one canvas, and you get a choice of size. The print also comes stretched onto wood for you, so all you have to do is put it on your wall. Glenn Barr "Girls Night Out"

If I had my way, I would feature a print by Glenn Barr every week. I can't help it, his work really is that good. So I will force myself to only share the prints of his that are too good to pass up, such as this new one. This featured piece is on heavy archival stock, signed and numbered in an edition of 30. It's also a nice size at 24" x 20". The print fits in very well with the previous Betty prints he has done such as "Bored and Horny," "Prehistoric Fate" (which also featured Wilma), and the very smooth "Bad Betty." Get It Here.

Whitney Lenox "Ouch"

Whitney Lenox is a painter/tattoo artist out of Riverside, and another artist whose prints you can get from the Black Market Art Company. She completely rules at painting, drawing and permanently injecting that ink into your skin. I look forward to all the new pieces she comes up with. Lenox has a good number of prints available, this is just a sample. Get It Here.

Jon Todd "Diamond Back Debbie"

An award-winning artist out of Canada, Jon Todd has a style that is very infectious. It was also quite easy for a Klimt fan like myself to love his work. The great thing is you're not looking at yet another artist that is biting Klimt, but someone who knows how to let their own voice scream out, and use that influence correctly. The colors and layout in this print are very exciting; it's signed and numbered in an edition of 100. Get It Here.

Keith Weesner "Heavy Traffic"

I have featured the art of Keith before, and I have been able to see his work in person. Pictures do not show just how this artist rules at acrylics. He also makes some of the coolest pin-up art around. He just released this new poster print so I had to show it. The print is 8" x 17" with an 7" x 15" image area. It is printed on velvet covet stock. I would call this a fine art print, as poster prints don't have specs this good. Get It Here.
