Retox Booker Suffers From Stroke

Victor Montes, head of the Belladonna Music agency, has had to put his booking efforts on hold: the 35-year-old suffered a stroke about a month and a half ago. Montes had been working with Retox Lounge, getting live music in the Dog Patch bar two nights a week. The lounge is hosting a benefit to help with Montes' medical bills, and to offset the fact that he is currently out of working commission for a while. The benefit, with the band French Cassettes, is on Friday, Sept. 26 at Retox. -- Jennifer Maerz
