The Lowbrow Art Sale: Kent Williams, Naoto Hattori & Nicoletta Ceccoli

Kent Williams, "Pilot"

Its been far too long since I have shown a print from this stellar artist. I'm not sure I can even find words to describe just how amazing he is. So allow my feeble writing to at least introduce you to this print, which runs 17" x 22" on cotton rag paper in an edition of 20. This print is made with Ultrachrome inks, the same that James Jean uses so I know the quality is top notch. There's not much I can say about this piece other than how perfect it seems to be in terms of layout, expression and texture. Get It Here.

Naoto Hattori, "Queen Wasp"

Naoto has an upcoming show at the Limited Addiction Gallery along with Anthony Ausgang and Lori Field, but a new print is available from his shop as we speak. This one is 13″x 13.5″-- signed and numbered in an edition of 50. I love all the action that is going on in this piece, but then again, I'm a big fan of any art based on wasps and bees. Head on over and check out the new prints, but do keep your eye open for the new show he will be a part of. Get It Here.

Nicoletta Ceccoli, "Corvi"

Roq La Rue's new website is up and running, and while browsing the prints area I found a piece from this previously featured artist ready for purchasing. Nicoletta makes some killer images, and this print is no exception. It's 14" x 14" on watercolor paper in an edition of 50. There is only 1 available. Get It Here.

Marni Mutrux, "Drift"

An artist and model out of California, Marni Mutrux has a very pleasing style. I have always been a fan of figurative art, even though it is done quite poorly sometimes. This piece by Marni is a great example of an exciting figurative work. The paining provides us with a unique angle; I love the look on her face here. The print is 11" x 14" signed and numbered in an edition of 50. Each one comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Cate Rangel, "Harmony in Blue"

Another figurative artist out of California, Cate Rangel has a very clear, elegant style with each of her paintings. She has a whole series that is inspired by Klimt, as you can see by the print featured here. I have always been a big fan of Klimt and love how Cate has integrated the style with her own unique voice. The print is 8" x 10", signed, titled and dated on the back. It's also available to you for under $20. Can't beat that.
