"LA Paint" Exhibit Premieres at Oakland Museum in Oct.

As both the Dodgers and the Angels make their way to the World Series playoffs while the Giants and A's stay home, the month of October is guaranteed to bring out your hatred for Southern California. Just don't carry that disdain over to your appreciation of art when LA Paint opens at the Oakland Museum of California next month. The exhibit explores the SoCal art scene through definitive current artists such as the Date Farmers, Esther Pearl Watson, Juxtapoz Magazine founder Robert Williams (work shown above), and many more.
