Loveweek Brings Get Connected Summit
As the "Loveweek" of the massive outdoor electronic music parade and party known as San Francisco LoveFest approaches, there's something fresh to be excited about this year for those that are sonically and technologically inclined: The organization has a new partner called the Get Connected Summit.
GCS takes place on October 2-3 and, in the spirit of exploring the intersection between music, tech and media, will offer studio tips and tricks from the masters (M-Audio, Ableton, Digidesign etc.), panel discussions and even a special edition of Pyramind's "Test Press" sessions, where people are invited to bring their own music to be discussed by a panel of expert industry ears. Registration for the Summit pass also includes admission (and a tipple!) to events and clubs at participating venues such as Mighty, Supperclub, Temple, Mission Rock and more joints that will be bouncing that weekend, making club hopping and getting your Love on super civilized. —Tamara Palmer
