Amanda Palmer Returns to S.F. with Aussie Theatre-Dance Troupe in Tow
The Dresden Dolls’ Amanda Palmer is coming back to S.F. in December, bringing along Australian cabaret outfit the Danger Ensemble. Those who caught Palmer’s solo show at the Great American Music Hall in early August will attest to the dramatic, piano-plonking Boston songwriter’s ability to capture an audience all by her corset-wearing self — but adding some Brechtian Danger to the evening is sure to send S.F.’s ever-excitable cabaret kidz into a tizzy. Cellist extraordinaire Zoe Keating opens this Bimbo’s show, which happens on Monday, Dec. 15, at 8 p.m. Tix are $25 for ages 18 and up. — J. Graham
