Steampunk Film Night July 9 Will Not Feature "Wild Wild West." Thankfully.

For those who are uninformed, or who aren't hopelessly geektastic, the term "steampunk" describes an aesthetic work that melds advanced modern technology with the look of the Victorian era's Industrial Revolution. Yah, kind of like that crappy Will Smith movie. Come join a whole bevy of humanities majors to watch far superior examples at Steampunk Film Night tomorrow, July 9. The double feature includes Hayao Miyazaki's anime Spirited Away, followed by French filmmakers Marc Caro & Jean-Pierre Jeunet's City of Lost Children. No need to reach for your trouser pockets, it's free. --Oscar Pascual
