"I've spent a lot of time hanging out in front of bars, and I've spent a lot of time hanging out in bars, but I never thought I'd have so much fun hanging out behind bars. Please don't break me out of party jail!"
So go the opening lines of "Party Jail," a trashy, surfy, Cramps-y, catchy little garage punk ditty from Seattle's Coconut Coolouts. It's as silly a song as you would expect from a band that ocassionally dons a banana suit on stage, but it's also damn fun. You can't download this one without giving 99 pennies to the cause, but one listen to the song on the band's MySpace page (it's the first song listed there) and you just might want to pay your way into punk lockup, Coolouts style. -- Jennifer Maerz
