Pirate Cat: Radio and Cafe

Pirate Cat Radio is perhaps the most populist of San Francisco's stations. A couple months back the streaming/pirate station (87.9 FM or www.piratecatradio.com) opened a cafe in the Mission at 2781 21st. Folks interested in the indie station are invited to drop by the cafe and studio for organic coffee, vegan donuts, and DIY shows that range from radio dramas and a "spicy meat parade" to Maximum RocknRoll radio. -- Jennifer Maerz
