Mutants are bound for the West Coast! In the “biggest-shake up in X-Men History,” Mike Carey, of X-Men and Ultimate Fantastic Four fame, will bring the Marvel franchise to San Francisco in a new series appropriately titled “Manifest Destiny.” Since the fictional home of the group - the X-Mansion in Westchester NY - was decimated, the change of scenery will bring new momentum to the 48-year-old series.

The first installment features original X-Men Robert Drake, a.k.a. Iceman, with a story by C.B. Cebulski and Skottie Young. It hit comic stands on Sept. 3, 2008. -Edward Paik
