Neil Young's new concert film, CSNY Deja Vu, sounds like more than just a collection of tour performances. In 2006, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young hit the road for a series of "Freedom of Speech" shows, where they spoke out against the Iraq war. Young brought along a camera crew, as well as ABC Nightline correspondent Mike Cerre, who helped weave a documentary narrative of the public's reaction to both the war and the musicians' protests into the film. Included in CSNY Deja Vu are interviews with soldiers and their families, politicians, music fans, and of course, the group itself. Young will host a special screening for the movie on Thursday, July 17, at the Sundance Kabuki Cinemas. More info at the San Francisco Film Society's Web site. --Jennifer Maerz
