MP3 of the Day: Nation Beat

Nation Beat is Brooklyn's "Brazilian Big Beat" band, a melting pot of so many influences it's difficult to untangle all the strains. Their track "Nago Nago" mixes electric guitar jams with country funk and Latin rhythms. It's all presided over by Liliana Araújo's playful vocals, which command a call and response from her five other bandmates.
