Kork Agency goes L.A.

Oakland's esteemed booking agency Kork (home to Peaches, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, The Gossip, and Beirut, among others) merged with the Agency Group, a massive Los Angeles outfit that works with over 1,000 artists, everyone from A-Ha to the White Stripes. Hypebot reports that Kork, which is headed by Christian Bernhardt, moved his operation down south July 1. (Thanks to Dan Strachota for the tip). -- Jennifer Maerz
