We just received word from one Hassana Chanelle that Keak Da Sneak was arrested on four felony charges on July 10 in Sacramento. Chanelle sent around a press release this morning with the following information, which we're currently trying to confirm:

SACRAMENTO, California – Bay Area Rapper Keak Da Sneak was arrested on 4 felony charges just hours after he attended a funeral in OAKLAND, CA. The entertainer was arrested on firearm charges and also resisting executive officers. He was hospitalized before being booked into custody.

Keak Da Sneak’s highly regarded attorneys are confident that the legal system will work in Keak’s favor, and are looking forward to being exonerated from all charges. The entertainer was taken into custody about 11 p.m. PT on July 10th, 2008 in Sacramento,CA.

Keak Da Sneak was held in custody over the weekend for an outstanding warrant and appeared Monday before a magistrate judge, the Justice Department statement said. He is scheduled to post bail and be released within the next.
