Darker My Love Kicks Off California Residency this Week

Is it a residency if you play various clubs in your hometown? Sure. Darker My Love has a California residency starting this Thursday, ping-ponging between LA and SF over the next couple weeks. The band plays Popscene on Thursday, The Echo in LA on Friday, the Rickshaw on the 24th, the Echo on the 25th, the Independent Aug. 5, and the Troubadour Aug. 7. Gas prices as they are, let's hope all those trips pay off for these guys, who are releasing a new record called 2 August 5. -- Jennifer Maerz
