Premiering July 4th and running for a week on the San Francisco Film Society’s screen at the Sundance Kabuki is the wacky comedy Hank and Mike, about two out-of-work Easter bunny performers who have to find new employment after being fired by the worldwide company that owns all holidays. Whither the flop-eared pink bunnies? The porn, beer, and smoking enthusiast Hank and his clean-living pal Mike search for work and love, and adventures ensue, with groups ranging from strippers to preschool teachers. Look for comic turns by Joe Mantegna and Chris Klein in supporting roles. --Meredith Brody
