The Lowbrow Art Sale: Mark Ryden, Amy Sol & Krista Huot
Mark Ryden "Tree of Life"
![]()
It's always a good thing when Mark Ryden releases a new print, and this one has to be the coolest one I have seen so far. This print is a limited edition etching on handmade paper from the pros and Twinrocker Paper. Etchings are far more difficult to pull off, so this is a special print indeed. It is signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity and the is also embossed with the Porterhouse Fine Art Edition's signature bee. This killer print is limited to only 40, it goes on sale this Wednesday. This one is only sold framed. Get It Here
Amy Sol “Kokiri Carousel”

This new print from the Thinkspace Gallery is from Amy's pretty much sold out show, "Karmic Magic." The original sold for $10,000 so it's a good thing this print is available for all those that love this piece. The print is very faithful looking to the original. It's on the very sweet Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Paper, signed and numbered and limited to 75. The print is also only a few inches off of the original piece. Limit one per order on these. Get It Here
Krista Huot "Into The Real"

An artist out of Canada, Krista has a great style that is cohesive and consistently of top quality. Her style is very fairy tale inspired. The textures, marks and colors she uses give her works this amazing quality that not only takes you to another world, but lets you know that Krista your guide through it all. This is her first released print. It's coming from the Gallery 1988, and coincides with some work she is showing in a group show at the gallery. The print is 14" x 11" and is an edition of 30. Glenn Barr "Storyville"

I am quickly becoming a huge fan of SlingShot Press. Each week they release a great print, limited to 50 and only $50. This week I am super excited to see that the print is one from Glenn Barr, which I no doubt have stated hundreds of times how much of a fan I am of his work. This is a great image of his to get as a small print as well. The colors in this piece smack you right in the face, and the contrast is perfect. Get It Here
Lisa Falzon "And Then Sadness, Like a Wave"

Lisa Falzon is an illustrator that works out of Cork, Ireland. She mainly works in the digital realm but often makes some traditional works as well. Her style in both mediums are very close, it's hard to tell what it digital sometimes. The piece this print was made from was acrylic. I really dig her style, and can think a few artists I would love to see her work shown with. The layout, and colors in the face are very killer in this piece. You can either get this print on canvas or just paper. Get It Here
