Brandt Peters "Yokai"

The Bear and Bird Gallery has show going on called "Yokai: Japanese Ghostly Zoology as seen through the eyes of a variety of North American Artists." It's a great show and two prints from the show are in this article. It's been far too long since I have posted any prints from Brandt Peters, and this is a killer way to re-introduce him. You can either order the stretched and framed artists proof, or the unstretched and unframed print for a little cheaper. The print is limited to only 10 prints! So if this one catches your eye, make sure you get over and get one. Get It Here
Brandi Milne "The Tea Party"

This Californian artist has had work shown at some of the top galleries in the "Lowbrow" scene, and has recently put out a book entitled "So Nice For Little Bunnies". These new prints are signed and numbered, in an edition of 50. Each one is shipped in a protective sleeve as well. It's rare that you see prints by Brandi, this is really the first time that I have talked about one. So if you like art neuvou mixed with some anime, head on over. Get It Here
Chris Murray "Radio Head"

This New York artist has already been in some great shows, such as the 2007 Crazy 4 Cult show, the 2008 “Toys” show and the upcoming “Everyone in together” at the SF Gallery 1988 this June. The work that this print is based on will be at his upcoming show. The colors and textures look amazing. This is a great opportunity to grab the print before the show even starts. The print can be either on glossy or non-glossy paper and I believe is 11″ x 14″. I think all the prints in his store are open edition prints. Get It Here
Jesse Lefkowitz "New Year's Blues"

This New York born, but now California based artist has done work for La Weekly, Rolling Stone, New York Times and many others. He has a very retro style, almost reminds me of Ryan Heshka a little bit. His work is very colorful, and from this print alone you can see it's very trippy too. This print is coming from Blueflip Art and a portion of this print goes to the International Red Cross. Get It Here
Andrew Bell "Nurikabe Mini Prints"

The creator of "Creatures in my Head" also had a painting and print available from the Yokai show at the Bear and Bird Gallery. The piece features the great characters that Andrew comes up with, as well as the skillful painting that you don't often see in his cartoons. The print is limited to 50 and as of now only 17 are left, so don't hesitate if you want one of these prints. They are too cheap to pass up. Get It Here
