The Dodos: Look How Far They've Come

The Dodos have definitely earned the attention getting heaped on them lately. The duo-turned-trio was on a Hemlock/12 Galaxies circuit for years, opening for local and national bands alike. Now that they've released an excellent record, Visiter, the band has jumped to the next level. They're not only headlining the Independent tonight, but they've sold the place out. Great things seem to be happening for these dudes. Could it be that we're gonna have our next San Francisco breakthrough in this infectious indie pop act named after a bird? -- Jennifer Maerz
