Finally they named a song after the lyrics. Sigur Rós ' new single is "Gobbledigook," a track involving lots of hand clapping and possible Icelandic lyrics and a beat that'll make you instantly giddy. It's got none of the navel gazing the band's performed in the past. Instead this is like Animal Collective from a foreign land (or even more of a foreign land than usual), and it comes off the new album Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (if you need the translation: "With a buzz in our ears we play endlessly")."Gobbledigook" is better than Prozac to wake up your Monday, and it's available for download as our MP3 of the Day here.
