Charo -- and a parade float packed with her living facsimiles -- will bring cries of "Cuchi-Cuchi" to this year's Gay Pride Parade. It was just announced that the Spanish entertainer (and flamenco master, and frequent Love Boat guest) will be a celebrity grand marshal of the parade this year, hosting a pink caravan of drag queens who competed for her company at a 2005 look-alike contest at Trannyshack. Of course, if you don't get close to the float, you'll also be able to see Charo at Herbst Theater on Sunday, June 29, for her CD release show -- so long as you get your tickets early. Two years ago tickets to her appearance here sold out from fans responding to her call to “Give Me Cuchi.” -- Jennifer Maerz
