The former Pavement frontman's latest release with the Jicks could mark the beginning of a miserable descent towards becoming a jam band. According to our review, Real Emotional Trash is "all jam, all the time," and that Malkmus "sounds like a Phish out of water." Tragic, I know. -- ASD Staff Report
