Manson's cooled off since his heyday when he made high schoolers massacre each other. He's basically Popmatters fodder now with the occasional sex video to spice things up. Yet, he holds a special place in our hearts if only for two reasons:
1) he was once a journalist;
2) the enemy (Manson) of our enemy (right-wing America) is our friend.
