Xiu Xiu Takes Camel, Rolling Stone to Court Over Dastardly Ad Practices

Even though they don't look like it, Xiu Xiu is fighting mad! Along with a plethora of other pissed-off indie bands, they've filed a class action lawsuit against R.J. Reynolds and Wenner Media, parent companies of Camel Cigarettes and Rolling Stone magazine, respectively. They contend that the magazine coupled their feature with a Camel ad. If the court goes toward Xiu Xiu's favor, they could see their share of what could be as much as a $195.3 billion lawsuit .Welcome to Flavor Country, Xiu Xiu. It's a big country. -- Oscar Pascual
