Web Extra : Tony Labat's Perpetual Art Opening and Web 2.0 in New Art

Last week we wrote about Tony Labat's BULK Perpetual Art Opening and we wanted to give you another chance to check out some extra Tony Labat related stuff and the whole new WEB 2.0 Movement in Art. Check out some images from Tony Labat's show at the Queens Nail Annex. The Tony Labat show is symptomatic of the WEB 2.0 thrust on the contemporary art scene, the move towards interactive environments as can be seen by the recent work of Adel Abidin and Jon Brumit. We like the idea of an art exhibition where you get drunk on tequila for the sake of expression, and yes there will always be those who play iconcoclast as can be seen by this ongoing art piece here
