The Thermals are a three piece post-pop-punk band from Portland, Oregon. The band was formed in 2002, and has since released three LPs on Sub Pop Records, played many shows in the US, UK, Germany, France, Holland, Italy, Croatia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Canada. They have supported Death Cab For Cutie, Sleater-Kinney, Guided By Voices, Modest Mouse, The Hold Steady, The Shins, The Buzzcocks, The Cribs, and many other premium indie bands. They have assassinated foreign dictators. They have delivered babies in the backs of taxi cabs. They don't know just where they're going, but they sure know where they've been. Most Thermals songs are, like this bio, short, to the point, and stuffed with loads of cheap wit.
