MC Hammer Proves He Really is Too Legit to Quit, Launches Interactive Dance Site

You can't keep a good Hammer down. After going through his own version of Steve Martin's The Jerk several years back, the SF Gate reports that Hammer is starting a new website, dancejam.com. Users can upload videos of their version of the Kid 'N Play dance, as well as other various moves and performances. Personally, I'm hoping for a video submission from Wacky D. Please SF Gate, don't hurt 'em:

DanceJam is getting its start by tapping into the dance phenomenon, underscored by such pop culture crazes as the television show "Dancing with the Stars" and the hip-hop footwork of Soulja Boy and the Billboard-topping song "Crank That."

On the DanceJam site, users can record their moves and upload them, as well as watch and rate others' skills. "The next star might be a kid sitting on his couch," Hammer said.
