Nathan Ota "Candy Colored Clown"
![]()
The work of Nathan Ota has been featured here once before, this time it's a print from the ever amazing Crazy 4 Cult series. This one is inspired by the movie "Blue Velvet", and is very dynamic looking. I love the contrast, colors and style that Nathan has. This piece really pops out out at you. I imagine if you got too close to this one on the wall, it would jump off and headbutt you. It goes on sale October 24th, it is an edition of only 50.

David Choe "SoFa King"
![]()
An artist out of Los Angeles, David Choe works in all sorts of mediums. He dropped out of art school but still speaks at colleges, and his award winning work can be seen in anything from comics to commercials to print. I am really getting hooked on his work lately, he has a great loose style to his painting, and his work is always interesting to look at. Often filled with humor, and an almost endless array of techniques. This specific print has sold out on pretty much all the sites it was offered on, the few left at the Toyroom Gallery may just be it.

Along with all this animation work she also shows her fine art at many galleries, such as the upcoming show she will have at the Nucleus Gallery in Alhambra,CA. This print is on 13" x19" and on watercolor paper. I really dig the colors that she used, and the brushwork of the piece. The link will send you to close-ups that really show how much texture is in the painting.
