Last night at Ruby Skye, we placed some very special trophies in the hands of all the winners for this year's SF Weekly Music Awards. Here's a recap of who went home with a figure of a twisty dude holding a guitar:

Best acceptance speech: The tall, tipsy gal who accepted on behalf of the Federation because she was "doing the drummer." She was followed by a pair of young ladies accepting on behalf of the Dodos for best indie rock. When asked what their relation to the band was, one gal quipped, "Well, that last girl took my line because I'm also doing the drummer." Here's to the healthy sex lives of our local drummers, and thanks to everyone who made this year's music awards a success.
Its about time that the Rock n Roll Adventure Kids received this recognition because they are the hardest working band in the Bay area. Thank you SF Weekly for choosing them in the Punk Category. Go Adventurers!
