Posted On: Sunday, Sep. 23 2007 @ 11:32PMWell, I've been following this band since I have memory (truly!). Got all their albums, most of their unreleased bootlegs, videos (including live at Le Theatre Antique d'Orange), et al. (Downloading? My ars! I buy their albums).
I would say nowadays the band is aiming for a darker sound, again (appealing to the younger rock and metal crowds). Playing songs like: Shake dog Shake, The Figurehead, Faith, Disintegration, Fascination Street but maybe also, Love Song, The Love Cats, Lets go to Bed, Killing an Arab... Robert is the master when setlists are concerned; even if they play 3 nights in a row at the same place, they will play different songs, period.
All I know is that I've been longing so bad to see them, I'm pissed... Hope to see them next year.

I'm still confused about BRMC, who were on the fringes when I was in college, then disappeared, then ten years later are playing huge venues with The Cure. I have yet to see them live, but would love to go to this show to complete the American Heroine-Rock triumvirate: The Dandies, Brian Jonestown, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
