A comedy about suicide? Performances of Roommate Wanted benefit the S.F. Suicide Prevention Fund, so maybe Rob Ready, Dave Burke, and Dan Williams’ new play isn’t as tasteless as all that. Roommate Wanted starts at 8 p.m. (and continues through July 28) at Off-Market Theater’s Studio 250, 965 Mission (at Fifth St.), S.F. Admission is $15-20; call 820-1656 or visit www.pianofight.com. --Hiya Swanhuyser
