RIAA Targets More California College Students

The music cops at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) sent out their sixth wave of “pre-litigation letters” last week, and some three dozen California college kids are among the lucky recipients. According to the RIAA’s web site, letters went out to 14 kids at California State University Monterey Bay, 13 at University of San Francisco, and 12 at San Francisco State University. Gotta love an agency that stays afloat targeting young folks and dead grandmothers.
