Taco Bell Boldly Moves Into New Meal Territory

Categories: WTF?

After the "stoner's innovation" of FourthMeal, Taco Bell has outdone itself by inventing a new eating experience, a strange sort of Pre-LunchMeal, or maybe they'll call it FirstMeal, it hasn't really been nailed down yet. Starting March 27, customers entering a Taco Bell in the mid-morning hours will be able to order from a new and wondrous assortment of foods, from tacos that sub in a sweet waffle-pattered bread for tortillas to Crunchwraps filled with egg and bacon instead of the usual seasoned beef and nacho cheese sauce.

In response to its competitor's bold disregard of the laws of fast food dining, McDonald's sort of told AP that it is starting to consider making its breakfast menu available all day, a move which would no doubt create a rift in the mealtime continuum, creating One-and-a-HalfthMeal or Morning-But-AfternoonMeal or any number of confusing iterations.

Neither company to date, however, has reached the pinnacle of fast food genre-bending:
Jack in the Box's Taco Nachos.

In the future, all restaurants will be Taco Bell.  So it was predicted in a movie as tacky as this new idea and as tasty, for sure.  Anyone else ever get the feeling that Soylent Green may be the 'good' ending?

Taco Bell had breakfast burritos as far back as over 15 years ago. It seems as if they keep introducing them and then taking them off of the menu.

Not that Americans are fat enough with fast food, eat more if it!

Umm, didn't they do this several years back? They do it at ours in Tracy.
