The rundown: This bagel-centric pop-up from Wes Rowe (Wesburger) and pal Sonya Haines should get you off on the right foot for the start of Beer Week. Bagels overnighted from legendary New York deli Russ & Daughters (plain and everything) can be topped with schmears including plain, jalapeno, scallion & garlic, and olive. You can also get open-faced sandwiches, including one with house-made pastrami, slow-poached egg, and bell pepper, potato, and red onion slaw; a schmear of choice topped with house-cured lox, capers, and shallots; or a schmear of choice topped with crispy kale, tomato, and avocado. Wash it all down with a Dear Mom Bloody mary and you'll be set for the day.
Marla Bakery Dinner Series
When: Sunday, Feb. 9, 5-9:30 p.m.
Where: Marla Bakery Kitchen Communal, 613 York

The rundown:Marla Bakery's new monthly dinner series starts this week, featuring a six-course menu with wine pairings in collaboration with Rachel Sillcocks, chef de cuisine of Range, and Chris Deegan, former wine director of NOPA. These dinners, described as "intimate affairs" around a hearth, are capped at 20 people and feature seasonal cuisine like olive oil-poached black cod with melted wild mushrooms and nettles, roasted quail with winter bread salad and turnips, pickled herring with creamed kohlrabi and dark seeded rye bared, and a citrus pot du creme for dessert. Don't worry: If you can't make it this month, they'll be back in March.
Ante Meridian Brunch
When: Saturday, Feb. 8 (10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.) and Sunday, Feb. 9 (10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.)

The rundown: This fancy brunch from chef Anthony Yang, formerly of Michael Mina and Per Se, will feature black truffle waffles; pork belly with lettuce and harissa tomato jam; poached egg with smoked trout, horseradish creme fraiche, and rye croutons; and fruit with yogurt, granola, and Marshall Farms honey -- all in the Victorian splendor of the Naked Kitchen mansion on Valencia. Do note it's BYOB, so if you want a mimosa, bring a bottle and some OJ.
Drunk Supper II: The Dead of Winter
When: Saturday, Feb. 8 (8-11 p.m.) and Sunday, Feb. 9 (7-10 p.m.)
Where: A mysterious cellar in the Tenderloin

The rundown: The newish Drunk Supper pop-up is serving a dinner based on the scarcity of winter ingredients. Its five courses will draw from North America and northwestern Europe cuisine, and the website promises lots of crab and "a rather irresponsible amount of booze." We like the cut of their jib.
