Hella Vegan Eats

Where: Dolores Park
The Rundown: In the likely case that the sun will still be shining in mid-November and you're probably day drinking at Dolores Park, Hella Vegan Eats will be curbside so you don't have to stumble elsewhere. Mack on their vegan mac 'n' cheese, or their Lusty Lover Tacos with butternut squash, a persimmon BBQ sauce, and spicy chipotle corn flakes served over a corn tortilla. The croissants they make for their BLTA envelop smoky maple gluten bacon, organic greens, avocado, and tomato.
Pan Grill Sandwich Shop
When: Wed-Sun 11a.m. - 3p.m.
The Rundown: A new lunchtime pop up by chef/owner Rob Lam of Butterfly brings milk bun sandwiches to the Embarcadero. The lunch window operates on the southern end of the restaurant. All sandwiches are $7, and include pork katsu with yuzu slaw, kimchi pulled pork with mizuna, and hanger steak with a scallion-chimichurri sauce.
Waiheke Island Yacht Club
When: Everyday until Dec. 31
Where: Pier 29
The Rundown: Now that the city has moved into post-America's Cup mode, this chic pop-up has found anchor at Pier 29 until the end of the year. Inspired by the dreamy Waiheke Island off the coast of New Zealand, kiwi Tony Stewart has brought the elegant fare to the Embarcadero. Sip a New Zealand beer or wine while savoring the rich, silky venison tartare accompanied by oysters, radishes, and grated horseradish. Brunch, lunch, and tasting menus are also available.
